irf
should be an easy one for you guys.firstly, what does the CEL light actually look like? should i see it when i turn the ignition cos at the moment i definetly dont. tbh didnt do a search cos i presumed that i'd just get loads of threads about how to get rid of the CEL light etc. anyone got a pic?secondly, to be a supporting member, what kind of money does it cost? this forums saved my arse before just by me doing a couple of searches so only seems right that i should donate, but how much? also, are there any other benefits? not needed but is there like a private members section that opens up cos i've seen a couple of posts that hinted at it but not sure. Oreo931
I think in the euro cars it is a "lambda" light instead of a "check engine" light...I think it would be the 2nd to last light on the bottom righthand corner of the dash.
CoRalV70
ive seen a lambda light in before, back at the dealership we took the exaust off a at the time brand new 04 v70r and then had to drive the car 30 miles and it came on lol....so the lambda light comes on when theres a major emissions fault. Oreo931
Jeff maybe in newer cars but I'm 99% sure these 850's dont have lambda lights (unless they are euro spec)JRF - check your owners manual if you have it, the info will be in there.
