skylerwaite
gasket from turbine to engine, gasket from turbine to downpipe, gasket for oil (feed, return?) line. the little green one and the sealing ring to go along with it. and 8 copper washers, although i'm pretty sure all the ones that came off were in useable condition. all of that same to under $30 at the dealership with two copper washers. those little suckers are 3.29 a piece! i'm pretty sure thelostartof can get you all of this stuff, too. Jaxx
can you explain why I would need the studs??? can I purchase just the (6) crush washers and the gaskets/seals?
JHEIII874T5M
can you explain why I would need the studs??? can I purchase just the (6) crush washers and the gaskets/seals?Sometimes when you're pulling the nuts off you take off a stud with it or strip the stud... it happens a bunch. Otherwise, I would replace those studs with new ones anyways while you've got it off, think Volvo might mention it in their service manuals that the studs are non reusable. thelostartof
vice grips and lots of PB blaster on the base of the stud ... either way do you really want to put a 10+ year old piece of rusted steel back on your car when for just few $ more install nice new ones that should give you another 10+ years of no problems? JHEIII874T5M
yup... PB Blaster and a vice grip, or just put 2 nuts on the stud and start backing up the bottom nut.
