I finally decided on a 2.5" Mopar / Borla cat-back w/o resonators. Picked it up for 200$, minus 75$ for my stock exhaust.I'll get pictures / videos up of the before and after sound. Yes this is not a 3" exhaust but seeing how my DP is 2.25" and I don't want to fork out 500-800$ for an OBDII complient DP + catback this is my first step. I will be keeping mine so the pops / cracks will be muffled and or diminished.plus I like the 4" tips w/ borla stamped on them. ontop of that the borla unlike 90% of the competition's are able to be alligned via clamps so the tips can be adjusted for length and horizontal alignment. Denovae Posted April 10, 2007 Author Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 yes it's a crappy neon the popping / crackling was designed intentionally by the SRT guys to make it sound less like a four banger. the s1/2/3 have a SIGNIFICANT increase in the droning / popping... hence why i will not be going that route but instead with a piggy back ( i.e. DTEC or NEO ).the exhaust tips on this system are HUGE.
