fromtheshadows Posted April 12, 2007 Report Share Posted April 12, 2007 Ok so I am a big fan of WVO/biodiesel cars as my friend has a Dodge Ram 12 valve 2500 cummins, and he runs it from oil he gets from his 8 owned Taco Bell locations. Dynoed at 570 whp, 1120 ft lbs of tq its a beast that will run low 12s and weighs more than 2 Volvos...Yeah so nobody I tell beleives me until they see it but the other day he tells me Apr 22 is earth day and on "Pimp my Ride" Arnold the Governator and Xibit will be putting an 800 hp duramax diesel into a 65 impala and running it on biodiesel (good to keep it all chevy). No fan of the show but will tune in. Witness the power of the diesel. Must have like 1500 ft/lbs of tq,and might be able to hit 9s...8s I dunno but does it matter, itll eat z06s for breakfast if it doesnt hit any corners or twist the frame. I highly doubt this show will be true...a) pimp my ride only does cosmetic and AAV. a D-MAX in top line trim makes 360hp and 650trq at the crank all sub 3200 rpms.
