flyfishing3
overkill for my needs but that seems like a good deal.mike
JHEIII874T5M
At least it has 5 cylinder support... hopefully this piggyback is at least as tunable as Civinco
Zulu
Hmm, so no one has experience. I can probably get it a little cheaper, guess I'll get it over the summer.
turbor850
so your gonna leave your car untuned until summer ? :(

Zulu
so your gonna leave your car untuned until summer ? 2 weeks away and I don't have cash for it right now. All I can do now is turn up the boost, put the MAF in a 4'' pipe to prevent timing retard (band aid !) and fuel tune with safc.
TorqueSteer
I don't think I see any wires going to injectors?
TorqueSteer
It doesnt have direct control over the injector pulses, so Civinco would still be more tunable At least it has 5 cylinder support... hopefully this piggyback is at least as tunable as Civinco
USMC850T
Wow that's a sweet price, about the same as a RICA or IPD chip + some tuning
Geevs
Would MAP be better for our cars than MAF? Does the MAP-ECU2 have IAT support?

Keaton85
Is there any way to get our stock ECU tuned to read a MAP sensor? or convert a MAP signal into a MAF signal in some way or am i being retarded here? Also someone in the industry needs to make a 100% complete system like an Operating system so that you can install said drivers for any type of sensor while also being able to program everything yourself in a clean easy to use user interface. Possibly use a unix kernal and build the user interface from there. Or you could build the hardware and have a complete user interface software for OS X/Vista/Linux. All the systems i see today work but they just dont cut it in a way, ive never used one so i cant say 100% but they dont seem to come with good software and its all just for windows. I just wish someone come out with a standard so that there are modes for mechanics, general public and advanced so that not everyone can mess with it. This would make it so easy to check every sensor on a "scan tool" instead of the age old systems that are out there right now. It work we have a high end scan tool and scope but it never seems to get the whole picture! I guess i just want it spoon fed so i dont have to manually search for engine troubles or tuning issues :)

Keaton85
You got linked to it...I was more talking a cheap way to convert the signal, not be able to tune the thing really.
