DelawareT5M
i'm in the middle of pulling my 96 850R's engine and i ran into a prob with the radiator quick release. mine either is stubborn and wont budge or i'm not doing it correctlymy haynes manual says to "disconnect the transaxle oil cooler intake hose from the upper quick release connector on the side of the radiator" I under stand what they are saying, but my quick release ain't so quick here's a pic for you guys to look at, i even tried some PB blaster (carefully sprayed) but what motion do i perform to get the damn thing to release? theForgottenone
Try needle nose plier to work it loose and pull out? I don't know but is there a tab on the bottom preventing it to release?

If you bend it getting it off you can get a new one from Volvo for a cople bucks along with a new o-ring.AJ
AU850T
Spread the metal clip with needle nose pliers as noted. The clip is what goes all the way around the fitting and holds it in place. You can spread it and move it back down the hose and the fitting should come out of the radiator.
