JHEIII874T5M
Straight pipe the stock suitcase, I mean muffler, and get some Samco Turbo Hoses along with switching your rubber vacuum lines over to silicone. You'll start blowing holes in 12 year old rubber hoses once you put a chip in. Doing a DP and exhaust you should get a remap. BTW, I'm not preaching Samco because I can get you a deal on them, I'm preaching Samco because I've had them for over 150K miles and they work like brand new to this day.I'd say get a conical outlet flange made for 3" piping, reusing the stock and flaring it out can tend to generate leaks. Phil94850
jhe.. i had the stock muffler removed and straight pipe put in and a free flow muff put on the rear. helped alot !! ive had my ecu done already, ive replaced my vac lines, done the pcv repair, i do need samco's though. I guess whats the next best thing to do as far as hp increase ( best bang for the buck kinda thing ) i dont wanna waste money on small increases... JHEIII874T5M
Throw a mandrel bent caltess downpipe on there and get it mapped for your mods, dyno it before & after too. Also, take it to the track to see what you trap.Best bangs for the buck are chip and MBC, everything else just optomizes that setup.
Phil94850
thanks jhe.. im gonna get wit ya for some samcos here soon. I know i need them. ive done the ecu and mbc. the car is my daily driver and i dont race it or anything so im not gonna go crazy on the mods but i was just wondering what all can be done without having to give up a body part.the car runs very strong now... when i mash on it, i cant keep traction it will spin the tires easy and the car has around 200k on it. ive ran a couple of hondas going down the highway and they went home crying mainly though, its my daily so im easy on her.
