V70TeeFive2Catch Posted April 28, 2007 Report Share Posted April 28, 2007 Not quite tuckin' the T5 but gettin there Took a good part of the day to do the install on my TME springs and Bilstein TC's. I had originally planned on the Koni's ( non-FSD ) , but that didn't work for me.I decided to take it to my buddys shop to get a pre-lim alignment as the ZE512's love to wear out. Everything panned out good and because it was Friday, there were lots of cars at his shop just hangin. The T5 was most definitely a hit ! Got lots of respect from some Vette,BMW and Porsche doodes. Some guy with a 2nd gen M5 said he liked my car better than his bro's s4 avant, mainly because its such a sleeper and something you don't see everyday.The rear sits nice, but the front needs to settle before I decide to cut a coil off. The car rides great ! Still doesn't carve a corner like my Audi, but getting closer. I think w/ QBM links, strut tower brace and rear end links it will turn-in better. It exits fine, it' just that wandering understeer that sucks.I've driven a s70 w/ Eibach pro's and for me, I like the linear rate better. More aggressive, and not harsh at all. I also added a 5mm spacer in the rear just to widen the track a smidge. Last night I was looking at pics of Adam Franke's S70 and me thinks that I'm going to have to bite the bullet and get a set of KW V2's.Even after clipping the coils its still not going to drop enough w/o compromising suspension travel. Hopefully we'll run into someone thats got KW's at Carlisle so I can get a ride in one.hmmm, decent lowering....one suggestion would be to add the rear mudflaps to even out the look a little moreActually trying to score a pair.
