bill d cat
I've been trying to remove the lumbar support knob to replace the seat cover on the back. I followed Rich Kelley's suggestions (in the seat cable instructions) but the knob just won't come loose. Is there some trick to this? Is the SVC70 seatback different from the 850?The passenger seat knob won't come loose either, so I don't think it's the car. It's me. Has anyone done this on a SVC70? Thanks! AlvinL
Eat a bowl of wheaties and pull hard while twisting. It will come out.You have unscrewed it but just couldn't get it out of the hole, right?

I'll try that (pulling harder, not the Wheaties). Thanks!

If they screwed the rest of the car together that well, it really would be "Volvos for life"!Thanks!
