Why Does The S80 T6 Suck

Can you get an aftermarket warranty on it? The ones I've had contact with were in pretty good shape and seemed to perform the daily driver duty just fine.

I say dumpe the car and get something with a single upgradable turbo. On the S80 the exhaust manifold and the turbo hot side are one unit. Dual exhaust would be a huge whore. Dump the car while the trans is still in decent shape.

i was only going to do a dual exit, not dual all the way- i just wanted the dual look

I say get a T6, and use the tranny and angle gear from an XC90 and the haldex unit from an S80 2.5t AWD and then throw on a couple 13c's and have a real monster

That is if I had $25g's lying around to spend on an 00-01 S80, it is doable though, back when VPtuning was around there was a guy from europe on it who put an S80T6 engine into an S70 along with an M66 with the angle gear and the viscous coupling AWD system from the S70 AWD. IIRC he hacked the ME7 system to make it work, but the end result was such a sweet car.

i think the t6 handles and drives like crap.....but i acually like the way the 2.5t's in the newer s80's drive.

same with the xc90 t6...it just feels like something is never right

thats not even mentioning the problems they have...
