Noahkk19
Would like to upgrade my brakes from stock but do not want to spend top money for something like a big brake kit...I know a deffinite option is to buy the parts and do it myself (Which I did 2 years ago), but I need to be pointed in the right direction in terms of companies, parts, and suggestions...p.s. I did a search and didn't find exactly what I wanted to know, so lend a helping hand!!

Tightmopedman9
Somebody correct me if I'm wrong but I think you can just get 302 mm brake rotors from a V70. You can still use the stock calipers and brake pads even.

Greenchunks
And they not just from any V70, they came on V70R's and police spec S70's. The brackt can be bought online at fcpgroton, or from your dealership.
JMK33
Is there a big difference with the 302mm rotors? I have a set in the garage im tempted to put on..
JHEIII874T5M
Is there a big difference with the 302mm rotors? I have a set in the garage im tempted to put on..I noticed a little better fade resistance, but still after 2 or 3 aggressive stops from 120 these brakes are worthless. I've found that for a quick, single slam on the brakes from 80MPH down to 40 MPH on the highway it won't matter if you have a 4 piston Porsche BBK or a stock caliper... but do that a few times and you notice. Noahkk19
Do you want to keep the stock caliper or no?yeah i'd like to keep the stock calipers, my pads are in pretty good shape...going with 302mm rotors sounds very tempting, I can't see myself needing to slam brakes more than once from high speeds so that sounds very practical for me...A slight improvement in fade resistance is what I'm really looking for because I only really use the brakes hard when I'm slowing off the highway or for a light, that's all...thanks for the help I'm on it right now

laird
Tirerack has ATE pads and rotors which are OEM (or better) quality and are priced right. I think these rotors are also plated to keep them looking good.
