Sway Bar Issues

So I just installed IPD sways and over large bumps I now hear a loud thump. I looked underneath and seems like the front sway bar may be hitting the control arm (I noticed some marks on the control arm). The weird thing is that on the passenger side I have about an inch of space between the bar and control arm and on the drivers side less then 3 mm.? How is this possible? I do have QBM sway bar links, I will make sure they are both the same height...

check your control arm bushings for cracks

Sure you didn't put the bar in upside down?

I really don't think so, but I will check it out.

I guess I could loosen the backets where the bushings hold in the bar and push the bar a little towards the driver side to have at least equal clearence on both sides.
