96PlatinumEdition850 Posted May 21, 2007 Report Share Posted May 21, 2007 Saw an old friend of mine at the gas station and he was in a 2003 WRX wagon and I just had to have a run with him. Caught a light exiting the gas station and there ended up being no traffic around. I brake boosted to 1,500 rpm I know he launched at a higher rpm but I'm not sure. Off the line we were neck and neck and by the end of first gear he was at my back door. By 100 I was a bit more than a car ahead. Second run from 55 we honked and I was ahead till the end of 3rd where he caught up and then as the car shifted into 4th I started to creep ahead. Last race from 55 again I pulled ahead by 2 cars by 100. I was stock on brand new tires, he had an intake. Time to put my IPD ECU back in for summer!
