86boostedvolvo
On my 1986 740 turbo wheel, and all volvos i assume, there is the regular lugs and then there is a pin that fits into a hole on my alloy wheel, 6jX15X25 ... im looking to upgrade to another wheel, but cant find many with that hole already in it to fit that stud... is that even necessary or if i knocked that off would it do any damage? I am looking for some answers or suggestions.

One is to hold the brake rotor in place while you are installing the wheel, second is to help align the wheel when you are putting it on. You can remove it without causing any problems, or you can replace it with a bolt.
86boostedvolvo
which solution would be the 1. least expensive 2. smartest 3. easiest to find wheels forand also, if i were able to find a set of wheels that would fit this odd lug pattern, and i had a hole drilled in where it should be, would that work aswell?
