xspoonx Posted May 29, 2007 Report Share Posted May 29, 2007 I am having trouble locating a place in the fire wall to drill a whole to run the power wire to the amp from the battery. I tried to follow the hood realease cable and that looks like the best bet that I can see so far. The porblem is that it still looks like it will be pretty difficult. The first spot I tried was double layered. after I got thru the first wall there was another one about 3 inches further in. The next spot I tried I didn't run into the same proble but, it was the thickest fire wall I've ever drilled thru. I ended up going right behind the gauge cluster. I ended up going right behind the gauge cluster.If you have an auto, look for the spot where the clutch would have been.On a stick, I seem to remember a good spot behind the glove box...
