ACES70 Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 can someone help me out? i am thinking of just selling the car (already in auctions and on craigslist) but how hard would it be to fix this? just replace rod with oem or aftermarket? piston? anything else? this is obviously really shitty and i would appreciate some comments.I dont know how mechanically inclined you are but if I were to bend a rod I would be trying to learn as much as possible because I would not be selling my car. Go talk to an import mechanic and see how much they would charge and then make a decision on if you can do it yourself or if they would have to do it.
