Phil94850 Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 well... the dreaded time is coming im looking at getting rid of my baby. i would like to offer to you guys first id rather someone buy it that can appreciate the car. the situation is im not going to sell for a couple of weeks or so. here is what ive done and the things needed:the good InMotion ECU upgradetune up- plugs wires, cap, rotorVooDoo III MBCK&N drop in a couple months agotrans serviced a couple of months agonew timing belt, serpentine belt, and water pump last yearPCV sys. done a couple of months agoblacked out grilleinstalled rear spoiler w/brake lightnew tires a couple of months agofront end alignement.new tie rod endskeyless entry working ( replaced fob )CAIstock muffler removed and chrome one hung on rear ( throaty sound )brake pads front and rear ( still squeals though )upper motor mount replacedboost gauge and narrow a/f on pillarresistor replaced for ECC ( works fine now )new power antenna mastlebraclear side markershas aftermarket cd player, remote, and pioneer amp with 10" sub in trunk.basically the car runs and shifts perfect. very strong boost, around 17psi, does not burn oilthe car has around 200k on it and all the options work. pwr roof, windows, mirrors, cruise.the bad : has a dent above grille ( thats why i have bra on it ), have to use shift lock to get out of park, the odometer quit working around 182k, the drivers and pass seat shows wear for the age, drivers seat moves forward and back, up and down but wont tilt back or forward, typical pass. door hinge prblem, the a/c works but has to be recharged each season ( 134a ) , the latch for the pass side hood latch is broken, the CEL comes on after a few days, i think its the O2 sensor. the SRS light is on due to previous owner accidently cutting the wire to the srs. thats about it. ill be asking 2500.00 OBO with all mods... FixerUpper Posted May 31, 2007 Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 keep itthese cars are not worth selling after pouring money into themat least thats what I have found.I have 2500 in parts and tire receipts alone and I couldn't get that for my car.my car has 170 and is pretty much in the same shape as yours.also, are you sure re the srs light? that doesnt sound right to me...why would someone cut an airbag wire? Phil94850 Posted May 31, 2007 Author Report Share Posted May 31, 2007 thanks for the replys.. fixer, yeah its the SRS light, the previous owner tried to, well he did, hot wire the blower motor so it ran when the key switch was on and he said when he was in the process of doing it he accidently cut the SRS wire. i fixed the blower by replacing the ECC resistor. i really really hate to sell it, but have to, so if anyone is interested, make me a offer, let me know ill be selling her in a couple of weeks or so.if interested this car is being sold on ebay...
