Blitzsafe Ipod Interface

I just installed my Blitzsafe VOL/M-LINK1 V.1 adapter into the back of my SC-816 in my 97 850R. I tapped the yellow wire into the back of the cigarette lighter. I see that it charges the ipod, BUT I am only getting sound out of the front left speaker. All of my speakers work fine if trying to play through CD, Tape, Radio.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Are you SURE you don't have any thing at the rear left?

The signal into the HU from the 6 disc is only Left/Right.

The fader takes that and lets you fade between front and rear.

Your trouble description sounds...Odd...because of this.

I'll bet you do have sound at both left speakers, it's just easier to hear the front.

See if the right side connector from the Blitzsafe to the HU is funky.

Wiggle the connector while it's playing...Check the Ipod connector, too.

May be a bad cable end...

One other thought...Kinda weird, but worth checking.

The cig lighter on most of these cars is a yellow for ground and

yellow with a purple tracer for positive...

Just a few thoughts. Hope you get it!

i was getting sound out of both left speakers. you were right! but no go on the right side. i ended up buying another one. should be here soon.
