Recommended Posts

is any body using these on their 98 s70 t5m with what other mods? problems? i've got the stock white injectors on my car.

are they worth the money ?

what are the volvo part numbers?

i am currently putting on a 18t turbo, 18t ecm re-map, walbro pump

i've got the exhaust sorted out, engine tune is good.

RICA recommends blue injectors with a 19t

I thought the blue and white injectors were the same flow @395cc. Greens are 450cc?

Here is a link to some injectors. Scroll down a bit to find the Bosch Green Giants.

Yeah, I thought someone mentioned the whites and blue were matched with different FPRs and the fuel output were nearly the same. Can anyone confirm this?

i currently have a 16t map. i am told i would need a re-map when i am upgrading to a bigger turbo set up to be safe, (to prevent rod bending) :( . i also know of people who are running white injectors with the above upgrades with no issues so they say. i just want to be safe in the long run. if i need bigger injectors then ok. :D

You can definately run them, but you will have to have the ecu compensate for them, you would just running a lower duty cycle in them. For example, when I put my green injectors in, at idle i was at 11.5ish when on the stock fuel mapping, very bad for fuel economy. I then used a base fuel calibration feature in my EMS to adjust the injector pulse width to 85% of what the stock ecu is sending. Theoretically it should be 310 (Oranges) divided by 475(Greens) to equal 65%, but the 85% percent is what works in the real world (worn FPR, aging Fuel pump etc..) to get it back to 14.7 at idle.

Anways moral of the story is you need to retune your ecu for your injectors or you will run rich at idle and throughout the powerband.

Range of injectors: from lowest to highest. Whites do not flow the same as blue.

Orange

White

Blue

Green

If you need blues let me know. I have a good set still attatched to the fuel rail.
