prasamin Posted June 19, 2007 Report Share Posted June 19, 2007 what do those little seals do at the top (to the left.. and too the right?)also what does the FCP Kit include?... looks like a lot of intake manifold gaskets and exhaust manifold gaskets?spark plug tube seals.FCP kit and most other HG kits include intake man gaskets for several engine serial numbers (NA and turbo), and a hg, valve seals, spark plug tube seals, tb gasket, exhaust mani gaskets, turbo drain seal and orings, oil dipstick oringyou'll need to buy the pink Volvo goop sealer for the valve cover, and some copper spray gasket for the gaskets. A few questionswhat torq numbers have people been using with the arp studs. will oil do in place of arp stud grease?Pras where can you buy the copper spray and is it a have to? bagodoosh Posted July 6, 2007 Report Share Posted July 6, 2007 this may be off topic..i was not impressed with their intake manifold gasket. it said OEM, however it was not.i ended up with an air leak inbetween cyl 1 & 2 and had to pay $15 to get an OEM from the dealer.it could have also been damaged during shipping, since it wasn't laid flat in the box.it could have been my worksmanship as well. who knows.regardless, with a job like that i would pick eeuro. they seem to do a better job in packaging.and i've yet to order a part from them that said OEM which was not.
