1sciroccofahrer
I don't want to ask a stupid question but, have you checked the battery and alternator?

1sciroccofahrer
When was the last time the fuel filter was replaced? Have you also checked the fuel pump relay?
TM850R
Smells like sulfur? Bad cat possibly? Thats the only thing that I can think of that would smell like that. I dont know if that could cause the car to stall though. If its clogged enough I guess it could.
1sciroccofahrer
You should take the battery to a Kragen, or Autozone, and get the cold cranking amps tested. Just to be sure. Volts aren't everything when it comes to the battery.
Olive850
where is the fuel pump relay located in this car, and it could be the cat. but i think there is not enough air coming into the engine ..maybe causing the fuel not to burn.... Sulfur smell is generally a cat problem. Cant say for sure that this is the only problem here though.

Sulfur smell is generally a cat problem. Cant say for sure that this is the only problem here though. This is an easy check, there's a plug in the exhaust down pipe from the header. Remove it and see if stalling stops. Not of caution, don't do this at 3 am your neighbors will hate you, car will be loud!!!!Have you checked the air filter and/or flexible air box lines for crimping? Again sulfur smell is more cat converter indicator. Let us know what you find.
