skazzunk
For anyone who's done it: How long will my PCV system take me to do? I want to do it after the paint job, but before the meet... if it'll take me a couple of days, I don't want to cut it close. I'd like to put that PCV, and the rest of my stage zero stuff in before the meetSo how long should I give myself to do the entire PCV? I'm not a beginner by far, but I sometimes take a bit more time than the average DIYer just to be sure everything's perfect.

Dermy
took me around 10 hours over the course of 2 days...it should really only take 3-6 depending on things...but i ran into several snags and i am also a newb yeah took me about 8 hours over the course of 3 days. the real pain is getting the manifold off, namely getting to all the bolts on the underside of it. another thing that sucked was that all of my old pcv pipes were just breaking apart when i tried to pull them off so it took me forever to completely remove them. that and trying to get the double ends of the long pipe onto the turbo/wastegate was a major pain since i didnt want to pull too much apart. skazzunk
Well either amount of time sounds good. I think that one saturday I could work 8am-8pm and I guess that would be more than enough time according to your estimates.. as long as I don't get frustrated and kill someone then I might spend some time in jail. But 10 hours sounds good.. all day just so that I can do some nice engine cleaning and finish stage zero (plugs, cap, rotor.. that stuff should be nothing compared to PCV I hope).Dermy... I know the feeling. When I was doing my boost lines the stock lines were just crumbling in my fingers and I couldn't get the ends off at all. Hopefully some owner of my car did the system at some point or I'm in for a treat Thanks guys.
