Zappo
I arrived home this morning with my car. Finally home and finally finished, although there are some minor things I still need to fix.
Guest 300+_T5R_855
On my setup lowering the compression will enable improved off idle behavior while enabling higher boost levels to be run.Or you could have raised the compression and used moderate boost levels and had a performer at low end and top end. Anthrpicdecadnce
ok, theres these two fuel lines, one goes to the rail, where does the other go? does it go to the manifold?also, that white and black vacuum hose that goes from the vac tree to.. uuh.. i dunno what that is... a little box thing by the fan shroud.. but yeah, the only white and black hose coming off the vac tree, do i want compression or vaccuum to pass through there? theres a one-way check valve there. stick70
The other fuel line you are talking about plugs into an elbow on the intake, it plugs on one of the little nipples that is directly on the manifold, there should be a little white clip on it that plugs into the bottom of the flat part of the fuel rail. The black and white hose you speak of goes from the vac tree to a valve in the middle of the rad support, cant remember teh name of it right now. stick70
IIRC, the black half of the valve faces the intake
Anthrpicdecadnce
ok gotcha.. theres four things that go to the nipples on the manifold. theres the fuel, the line to the CBV and some large vac line (on the elbowed nipple). What goes on the forth nipple?
