West Coast Nation Meet

True, it was in a casino. However, I don't drink and never gambled the whole time I was there, although I thought about it. :)

THe gambling or the drinking? That would have been fun, a little shift from the gather in a lot sort of thing.

You don't seem to be promoting it very well. I see you have the wrong date on the Golden Gate website. :) You have it on Saturday the 28th. It is correct on the VCOA site though. Also, as far as I know it was never advertised on here.

Well, I will talk with Brian and see if he can make it down on that date. He has missed all the big events this year and with the cancelation of the west coast meet he is missing everything now.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I guess you missed the fact that I said I am the ONLY person that is working on this. I also work a full time job and take care of my family. If I had enough time to be on every volvo website and board then yes it would be promoted. Agasin it seems it's a case of you want someone else to do the work and you reap the rewards.

Easy Scott.

Sometimes all it takes is to ask for help. I am sure plenty of the participants that frequent this board would offer help if asked. They can't just start calling caterers or setting up things without direction. Aren't you the director?

The date on the GGVCOA forum is correct and gives a complete list of events slated for the local chapter. The website has been slated for updating, but because Microsoft and the crappy IE which refuses to comply to web standards won't work with the new page that has been designed, therefore an alternate page for those who still use that POS must be made. This is a PITA, not to mention time consuming, so the current website has been left unchanged (Jeremy maybe you can mention this at your next meeting with the morons that run the company you work for).

Yeah, I too like many others was waiting till the end to sign up for the West Coast meet. I need to decide still if I want to miss the Cal football game. It's only against Louisiana Tech but this is my last year as a student for these games. Also, in regards to the other meets, Carlsen is a pretty good show, although if it gets really big turnout I dont know where all the cars will go :) But I think most of the sentiments expressed here about VCOA are spot on.
