No to all? Thats not helpful. Besides you drive a 244. buzz off.

Just checked out your rebuild, looks like you got your hands full, looks good too! I am also on the hunt for a 240 series for a daily/winter driver. Ironically the parts I am looking at come from a shop in AZ. Germanauto 3k7 on Ebay. If you got a grill style I should look at let me know, I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks for the input.

This doesn't seem like a PERFORMANCE question. More like Cosmetic.

Anyways I don't care for any of those.

I would look into the IPD mesh grilles and or the EST mesh or eggcrate grilles.

I have had mine for an entire New England winter, and one front end collision, and none of the paint has chipped. Minor bug guts from my road trip to ohio, but when I get motivated I will remove those. I think Chris (p0cket penguins) put like 6 coats of plasti-dip on it. It looks really good, and I think other than blown_volvo850r, its the best looking option over stock.

Diamond, but they still don't look good as there are better options.

If you do paint, paint with plasti-dip.

Don't bother painting the stocker. Regardless of what paint you use, it'll get chipped and look terrible. Get a mesh grill from IPD or EST. Like this...

Yup, that mesh is it. My 855 is a pewter granite, 419. Hows black gonna look? I've got chrome jewels, will black be too loud? I luuuuuuuvvvvvv black to.

Here's my honest opinion. Get the chrome/silver grille. If it's too bright, use VHT Nightshade and darken it. You could still keep the polished shiny look and darken it all the way to a black ice or black chrome, which would be super hot. I considered doing it on mine, but I didn't wanna fool with it, so I chose the black. I've used Krylon Fusion and Krylon Chalkboard paint on mine, and haven't been able to get the paint to be chip free.

Yeah keep it clean with the lighter color paint and lights. If the car was darker in color, black would work better. Black works great with red, green, blue, darker greys like charcoal, black, yellow, and of course white. Have you seen CJ's grill? He uses a mesh also. I need to check that out more.
