96PlatinumEdition850
Alright, I have a Panasonic CQ VD-7001U headunit and I've had it in my car for almost a year now. I got a sub about 6 months ago and installed it myself. It pounds great and I don't have a problem with the sub but when I go to control the gain for my subwoofer through the headunit it reads the subwoofer as the rear speakers and not as the subwoofer. Now I think that's because I put the RCA cables in the rear-out for an external amplifier and I just read through my installation manual of my headunit and looking at the diagram of wires it says "Pre-Out Subwoofer connector (Mono)" Now I was just wanting to be able to control the subwoofer on my headunit and it actual be the subwoofer cause right now when I change the rear speaker output (gain/loss) it's really changing the subwoofer but I don't understand how I connect the RCA cables to a mono cable when the RCA cables have two connectors. If you can make sense of this without pictures let me know what I'm doing wrong. Thanks
