mikie
So I followed Bay13, checked the fluid and everything before getting started. So the unistall went perfect, I'm just having a issue getting the caliper back on. The inner pad is attached to the caliper, the outer pad is in it's place all I gotta do now is slip the caliper over... but it doesn't fit. Did the caliper close, lock up whatever you call it? What do I do now? Thanks

Oreo931
you have to compress the piston...i went to the hardware store and bought a C clamp, that worked like a charm...its funny, i had the exact same problem when following bay13's instructions too...maybe they should add that part in. Zappo
It shouldn't take all that much force to compress the piston. I have done them with my hands before.
mikie
It shouldn't take all that much force to compress the piston. I have done them with my hands before.I actually found a clamp laying around, worked well. I didn't even try using my hands, I guess I was assuming it would take more foce to compress. Thanks.
