I have heard it from a few also. Hopefully its the syncro and not the gear. maybe a good shop can find something that will work.

i know i need to. Civincio is what i am leaning towards. I might just stick the stock turbo and injectors back in for a while till i can afford it.

Is the fueling there to run high boost? Like upgraded injectors and pump? Also, what year and type of car are you running this in? RICA prolly has a map in stock for the GT35r.

95car. 95ecu. 97engine. 750cc injectors. it would be cool to get a RICA map for manual tranny and 35r.

You haven't been running cheap gas in there have you?

Not sure where you are coming up with the 30 mpg number.

They don't sell spare parts for the transmissions. They replace the whole thing.

I run 93 and try to make it shell. 30 mpg is just doing the math going down the road. i think it was like 28-29.

Who made the gears for volvo? There has to be some way to get the parts.

What color smoke were you getting on startup?

On startup its white and doesn't dissipate.

Yes they did... that engine has made good power before :)

My rods would be toast if they hadn't. When i had the BSR ECU i tested it out a little and it made loots of power. Id say 375 whp. The original owner tuned it on apexi safc 2 and ran hi 11s at like 2500 lb car weight making over 400 at the wheels.

You mean who made the transmissions for Volvo. I know of only one person who has repaired a transmission, and he used parts from another one to do it.

On startup its white and doesn't dissipate.

It isn't valve seals then.

well the smoke isn't blue so thats what i thought. but it smokes on idle and on startup like its valve seals or seats.

I had a Volvo mechanic tell me thats what he thought it was.

Interesting, in the T5M if i just gently push it into 3rd and take my foot off the gas, sometimes it'll pop back out.

At first after it broke I could double clutch and get it to fall in to gear but now when i let the clutch out it kicks it back out.

Did he actually watch the smoke come out of the tailpipe or did he just tell you what he though w/o looking at the car? Constant white smoke is most definately not the valve stem seals...

He came out and looked at it. Its a different white smoke when it idles then when it starts up. What do you think it could be from?

What about changing gear sets. Is that possible to do?

If i were to install na cams do i line timing marks or would they have to be advanced/retarded a little bit.

Does anyone have all the specs (cam chart wheel thing) for the turbo and na cams. Has anyone sent cams off to be

ground?

Nice ride first off man, next I'd say get that joker a tune quick, it's crying out to you ! Second, OMFG that turbo is tucked in there quite nicely man, i likes that. And finally, I'd love to see this joker run sometime maybe at a Va Beach GTG next year or something, and remind me the color of your car so I can watch my back up here in Northern VA !
