Nice ride first off man, next I'd say get that joker a tune quick, it's crying out to you ! Second, OMFG that turbo is tucked in there quite nicely man, i likes that. And finally, I'd love to see this joker run sometime maybe at a Va Beach GTG next year or something, and remind me the color of your car so I can watch my back up here in Northern VA ! Good luck man.

Thanks man!

I PMED Shawn asking him if he was going to organize the VA Beach GTG again and i haven't heard back yet.

Its black. Looks completely stock on the outside.

Where in nova do you live?

Aaron and I got the 35r 750cc RICA map.....Aaron just has it to stop any CEL's since he has 034 on his car for mapping.

I'm running strictly RICA, and it is so rich, that the car won't even go into boost.

as far as your VMS engine is concerned, I bet it was worse than that before you even installed it. The way it looks now could very well be an improvement.

How much can you get the 35r/750cc map for? Do you think the map is wrong? why so rich?

I am really not sure if the carbon build up is from running rich, valve seals and seats, or the turbo is blowing oil through the system.

My friend Greg who has built all kinds of vehicles all of his life talked me in to having someone who has experience look at it so I took the head to have it reworked.

I am going to have the turbo looked at also.

Hopefully i will know the exact cause soon.

I did a little cleaning and the pistons look great. 1 was the cleanest and 5 was the nastiest.

Id really like to know what caused this. Will this ding be a problem?

Now why is it that when the timing marks are aligned the piston is not at TDC? Is it supposed to be. Could it be that because of upgraded pistons and rods that it is off?

I lost one of the little sleeves that fit around the studs in the block. I believe there are 3 of them and i am missing one.

Does anyone know a name or a part number for them?

engine block dowels, your engine was burning oil, was your valve seals bad? pistons aren't rocking?
