UberV70
So i finally got some bulbs in my ABM projectors (its a long story) and ive got a few questions i'd like to run by everyone. I searched but couldn't find any direct answers, and i couldn't post in a closed topic.First - has everyone who's installed the ABM's had some bumper clearance issues? Ive got a bit of a gap at the front that i never had before and i know ive got the lights in there properly, so im wondering if thats "normal".Second - My friend that was driving in front of me tonight said that my lights were "really bright" which makes me wonder if they need to be adjusted. Would i do this the same way like with the stockers - just turn the screw and watch it go down? Bonus Question - Is there a certain height that the cutoff should be when the car is a certain distance from a wall? If not - what does everyone have theirs "set" at? UberV70
A member who im going to call "Billy" for animosity's sake sent me a PM in regards to adjusting the projectors:Yes I did have a gap between mine. However I don't think other people have. But seeing as how more and more people have bought these since I did maybe they have. However I had this problem.Yes you need to readjust them. Get a socket wrench and a 10mm socket. You should use the instructions on this site to adjust your headlights.http://www.danielsternlighting.com/tech/aim/aim.htmlUse the ECE instructions as that is what our projectors are. If you can't do it like this have a local shop do it. Should only cost $20 and it will be done right the first time. There is a certain height that headlights need to be. That is when I had mine professionally adjusted they used a little meter type thingy and they set it to a certain height and then adjusted the headlights from there.Hope this helps. This is drastically different than that other post, that although was helpful - doesn't really answer my question on the adjusting screw in the back. Anyone who has the ABM's have some input?

UberV70
I tried using the screw adjustment on the top of the housing and it didn't seem to do anything. From what i remember the adjustment on the top didnt really do much on the stockers either - have you tried the adjustment screw on the back? maiku
IIRC, counter clockwise raised the beam, clockwise lowered the beammake sure the "ball" of the adjuster is actually attached to the headlight housing
UberV70
More input from "Billy"The picture you provided on the adjustment screw. You don't use the top of it.There is a piece sticking out right below it. The 10mm socket will fit right over it. Then you turn left or right to make it go up or down.Im not sure if Billy has done this himself, so can anyone confirm it? I could go out and try myself, but i'd rather hear of someone else's first experience before i go and F around with mine.
maiku
when you turn the top part, it's a gear that turns the buttom part...
