LoveMyS60
Ok... so I'm new to car Audio, and the s60 (which I've owned for a month) is apparently NOT the car to cut ones teeth on. Can anyone help me navigate this mess? 1. Apparently some 2003's have a wire in the left-side of the trunk already, prewired for a cd changer or something. I looked. I have two distinct wiring harnesses. One is a rectangle about 2 inches by 0.5 inches with a dozen or so wires plugging into it. The other is rectangle, about 2cm by 0.5cm, green, female, has 10 'pins', and 3 wires leading into it. Is any of this audio stuff? 2. Is there anywhere else I can look for a pre-wired melbus cable? For that matter, what the hell is a melbus cable and what does it look like? I'd really prefer NOT to have to pull out my HU. 3. If I were to find an 803 (w/ the 4-disc in-dash) could I simply swap it out in place of my existing HU-613? Will I need a dealer programming visit? Will my existing speakers, etc, plug right into it? 4. Has anyone ever heard of anyone installing the RTI system aftermarket? I'd LOVE to get the RTI in my car. THANKS THANKS THANKS!
