Volvoboi24 Posted July 11, 2007 Report Share Posted July 11, 2007 So I was out coming back from a movie when a H22 Prelude rolled up, lowered, exhaust, and probably an intake by the way it sounded. He must have noticed me looking at his car, cause he gave me a nice rev, followed by a few nice pop pop sounds from running too rich. So i say what the hell, put it in advanced, turned off all the DSTC mumbo jumbo and I was ready.So the light turns green and I floor it, and by the end of 1st I had about 1 car on him, second about 2 cars and shut down at the top of third with about 3 cars. It felt so nice launching in the R compared to my old C70 since getting the power to the ground is so much more smoother and fluid... peeling out all of 1st and midway through 2nd isn't so fun :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I hardly ever notice turbo lag with the KKK24 compared to the 16T... the 4C is really nice when you want the extremes comfort and advanced compared to the lowered setup I had in the C70, I'd say the S60R seems like it handles better... but I mean both cars aren't exactly great handling cars, but the S60R has a lot more grip. No more torque steer!! And, of course, NO SUNROOF RATTLES AND AIR LEAKS FROM THE WINDOWS AND WINDOW SEAL LEAKS!!! your R 6 speed or auto?I decided to get the slushbox tranny... the main reason I sold my C70 was because it was manual and LA/Irvine traffic is really bad.nice killYou're brave though... i'd like to not see my S60 R get crushed, just in my honest person opinion.thanks but I mean theres always someone faster, I know the R isn't exactly a fast car... but its 4 doors, comfortable and has decent power :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
