HID850
Well check this out, I need some opinions on the current situation with my 850. The factory stereo system has a total of eight speakers 2 on the dash, 2 on the front doors, 2 on the rear doors, and the 2 rear deck. Now would it be wise to go ahead and replace all eight, and toss the sub in the rear. I am planning on doing MB Quart Premier components for the doors and MB quart reference for the dash and rear deck. Would anyone think that this would be way to much for mids and highs, or would this definitly fill in every corner of the car without having to worry about sweet spots? Also I know that the doors speaker sizes are 5 1/4, but what's the size for the rear deck? 5x7 6x8 6x9?As for the front dash I am planning on putting some 3 1/2. potroast
do 5.25" components in the front doors. Nothing in the dash, nothing in the rear. Then do a sub.
Guest bing_0 in nj
i second his opinion or use a pair of kicks and put a 6.5" in the kick panel, but if you want to just use speakres, i would highly recommend just doing front and rear doors and leave hte rest unhooked upb
