tomtbone
Please elaborate. I have an order in right now and would like to hear good and bad feedback on these. They seemed like the best option out there??Certain anti seize products work better I just haven't figured out which. So yes, the steal will rust with time. I have however been given a good tip from a buddy of mine that actually uses these on his BMW and that, after all of the adjusting is done and you have them where you like it, spray some rubber undercoating around the shaft and threads! This will protect the unit from rusting at all and you can easily take them off or adjust them in the future if you so wish.

I am just pissed that if I want to adjust them now I will have to get new ones since mine are all crap and will break if I want to adjust them (which is the whole point of someone buying them)and yes I did use anti-seize
shanehutton
7 VII 7 - Have yours broken in any way, or have they just rusted so that they are seized up and (would) break if you tried to move them?Just trying to figure out if they have a weak point or are just prone to rust?T-bone -Have you looked into zinc dipping the steel parts? 7 VII 7
I broke the bolt when trying to keep them from adjusting... then I got new ones... those were ok but now there is popping and they are rusted to hellI am afraid to take them off because I KNOW they will strip and not be worth it
