gdizzle
Nice Hasse and nice pics! I have a Yashica D TLR and Kodak DuraflexII TLR that I shoot with. I just picked up a Mamiya M645 1000S, really looking forward to it, I've enjoyed 120 film so far.

Spanky
Can any of you photography wizards recommend a book to me?? I am taking a digital photography class this semester and was looking for a book to give a bunch of examples of genre's. Not looking for a booked packed with information, but rather a collection of different types of shots (give me a feel of how lenses, filters, exposure, angles, light can be tweaked). Thanks J

Thanks J Are you looking for a book on composition? Best book I've read is The Photographers Eye. The examples and explanations are great, much better than anything else I have seen as far as composition goes. http://www.amazon.com/Photographers-Eye-Composition-Design-Digital/dp/0240809343 For basic skills, something like this looks like what you want though: http://www.amazon.com/Understanding-Exposure-Photographs-Digital-Updated/dp/0817463003/ref=pd_sim_b_2

JCviggen
I'm having some AF/sharpness issues with my new stuff, think it's gotto take a trip to the nearest Canon service center. Bokeh works though

JCviggen
Cat! Unfortunately all the funnier ones were pretty poor because cats move so damn fast and light was lacking, or I was too far away. Still not happy with the 24-70 sharpness at all though :(
Zaitz
Shouldn't you return it or get it checked out?

JCviggen
Shouldn't you return it or get it checked out? I'm getting a 70-200 2.8L first. I'll see if the trouble lies with the 24-70 or the body (or both) and then the necessary part will go to the canon service center. I hope it's just the lens because I have to shoot a bunch of stuff in Paris in 2 weeks.
