gdizzle
Nice portraits. Really like the high key, works well especially on the second. Thanks Zach. Went on a road trip out west. Thought I was going to get a lot more shots, mostly my fault. Didn't plan it very well and ended up not having anywhere to stay a couple nights and just kept driving. Should have slept in the car. Here are the shots I've edited so far. Will post more later. Nice shots Zach, the first seems pretty heavily edited in post though. How did you shoot it and what'd you do in post? Zaitz
The first was intentionally underexposed. Two stop exposure blend for more detail in the foreground as the eye saw it. Here is original:

Here is original: http://img138.imageshack.us/img138/3936/009pos.jpg Ahhh, ok. I didn't even think about a blend. I need to shoot more landscapes. I just met a local guy that shoots almost nothing but landscapes, supposed to hook up w/ him and shoot some sunsets soon. I really suck at editing though, so I try to keep it minimal. Yeah it was a pretty red sunrise. We got off the highway and just stopped in front of this field for the foreground. I don't usually shoot landscapes either although it is my favorite type of photography. That's why I expected a lot from the road trip. I'd actually have something to shoot compared to what is around locally. I've been using Photoshop for about 8 years or so and I love working with it. Definitely post up some shots if you go shoot with the guy. Does he have a website? 2 more:
Zaitz
2 more. This huge, vivid rainbow was only like this for a few moments before it faded:

turbotuner
Sounds interesting.. especially the 4" lens Check it out - it's a small computerised telescope, light and portable. I just attach the Canon 500D to the back. http://www.celestron.com/c3/product.php?CatID=13&ProdID=

nari
First ever magazine publication. Altough I'm not so happy with the printing quality. And it is not a cheap magazine either.. All the pics look noisy, and not so sharp. But overall I'm happy :)
