Dmsee
To take them off just use a drill and drill them out and then follow Adams response
MrWinkey
I cut the heads off with side cutters if needed then punch the rest of the rivet back into the fenderwell. Volvo sells the rivets called "blind rivets" they are nice and have the big plastic end on them . You will need a rivet gun though
drive28
As MrWinkey said....try a cutting the head off with a side cutter or use a dremel drill with a cutting wheel to cut the head off or whittle it down enough to poke the rivet back through.. Sometimes when you try to drill them out and they are embedded into something soft like the ABS plastic fenderwell liner/splash guards they will just spin.......If you still have the front drivers side mud flap and you intend on replacing it I might be interested in it if it is salvagable. My son's 850 is missing just that one on the front of his car......he is a financially strapped college student and always looking for an "organ donor"Cheers,Fred

Yellow95
I put mine back on with plastic clips. I always do that with my wheel well skirts in case I need to get back in there for something.Gary
