stick70
Hmmm, I may have to jump on a set of these, they would look good w/ the T5 lock pins tomtbone made meI believe they look alot lighter than they really are, the pic has alot of light coming off of them, i have a tan interior and the silver isnt bad at all, as long as you dont have a HUGE amount of it you should be ok, the pins go nicely with the aluminum rings on my gauges. Mike H.
Im not saying that Chrome is the same as Silver, what Im saying is that both are too light for someone with the Tan interior. Black would look much better. And dont they make black aluminum pins? I was just suggesting to the OP that if he could come up with a GB for some Black ones he might get some more buyers. You need to chill out....If you want to get black anodized rings, I'd be more than happy to provide you with one, but you will have to pay full price for the anodizing. Or you can have tomtbone do the anodizing for you. I've already sold over 60 sets of these in "silver". Trust me, I will get less buyers if I sold them in black. You're one, so that leaves 59 to go... Side note, delrin stronger against threading, as oppose to nylon, hence the proposed switch. Price between the two materials is neglible. Mike H.
Gross paint ,How much would they be in anodized black? Im not trying to tell you what to sell, Im just saying there may be some other people who would like them in black.I'll find out from my machinist tomorrow. I'll warn you right now it won't be cheap just for one set.And I'm just saying that I will not find 59 other buyers wanting black. Even if I make 5 in black, I doubt people would even buy the other 4. ON top of that, the total price of each set will go up dramatically to cover the anodizing costs. Financially not beneficial to me.
