Rubber Door Gaskets

I replaced all four top door seals on my dd because where the po kept load bars on the car they were all torn. I paid $20 for them at the local junk yard but they were all in good shape. That same yard had an 850 wagon piled three high that had euro rails still on it, couldn't believe it. I went up and got them and ended up paying $45 for those and picked up a seal kit from the dealer. The kit was almost as much as the rails. Junk yards can be a good parts source if you have one in your area.

It must be nice to have a pick&pull with a lot of Volvos in it. The one in the Minneapolis area has a few 200/700s and I even saw a 93 850 there once. Slim pickins. If we want parts, we have to surf the web.

It's a twenty minute drive for me and I was surprised at the amount of Volvo cars they had and in most cases stacked three high to boot!
