giantrobot9000
I changed my plugs last week and after going for a hard drive,my intercooler hose popped off.I put it back on,and maybe 10 minutes later I noticed that the turbo was spooling almost immediately under light throttle. The car was VERY responsive.I was thinking "Wow,these plugs RULE!".I put my foot down more, and the stock boost gauge was heading way over to the right, much further than usual. It did this a couple of times and then went back to normal (slow and maybe halfway at full throttle).Any ideas what happened? Was the ecu resetting itself or something? It was really nice,as long as it wasn't hurting my engine!

giantrobot9000
I'm talking about something that only happened for a few minutes. It didn't happen right after I changed plugs, and didn't last very long. The new plugs only made the car run a little smoother. This felt like another 5psi or something, and the boost was almost immediate. giantrobot9000
Have you checked your vacumn hoses?Yeah, and I don't see any issues, but I know I need a PCV service (I've been putting it off because I might sell the car soon).Even after the plugs, air filter and compression check (which was good),I still have a hesitation during acceleration. If it isn't the clogged PCV or vacuum lines causing this,my only other guess would be fuel filter or injectors maybe. My gas mileage isn't that great, either (16-18mpg around town). That boost spike was weird, though.I liked it a lot. :)
