Chilled man
And the dealer has no clue why ETS light was on and was throwing the code for Dead ETM so had them change that out $600.00 drive it for a day light comes back on and its has a 0573 wich is the Brake Pedal sensor - who fing cares its bin there for ever. so they go $xxx.xx to fix that I am like why that has noting to do with my MPG Thoughts ? it seems like these guys are a little brain dead . if it cost more then $1000.00 to fix there keeping the car I will go through and take the headlights and wheels off they can have the rest of that POS car . So any idea why my MPG is that of a Hummer ?
ACES70
ETM should be covered under warranty, you shouldnt have paid a dime.

I will once I get that part fixed tommarrow, worst part the closets two are both owned by Lehman, I was thinking going to the west shore location , but who knows maybe this repair will fix it will find out more this weekend when I get the car back and drive it 50 miles and either it takes only 2 gallons or 5 gallons of gas :)
starfish
8-9 mpg has got to be brutal with today's gas prices.Although the OBDII compliant fuel management systems are aggressively looking for faults it is not a one stop shop for all malodies.Have you or has the technician physically looked at the entire fuel system for leaks? Are the brake pads rusted to the caliper mounting guides and not retracting when the pedal is not being applied? Is the parking brake dragging? Is the transmission shifting properly?ETM's flow air and not fuel so I doubt that is your source of trouble.
