starfish
I've seen lot's and lot's of cars with codes for brake pedal position sensor faults, many a customer never new about and at no time has there been an issue with a brake sensor position sensor creating an issue where the fuel economy suffered in any way. So, was the o-ring missing on the sensor which created a vacuum leak and what dealer is open on Sunday?

brick-a-brac
Just out of curiosity, were you basing your gas mileage figures on a calculation of consumption per miles driven?
Dmsee
I think you can tell by your gas gauge if your car eats 8mpg or 25mpg
Chilled man
Just out of curiosity, were you basing your gas mileage figures on a calculation of consumption per miles driven?used 4 gallons driving back and forth to my dads and he only lives 15miles away basiclly you could watch the gas gauge go down as your drove I average 320-360 per tank , I use the little trip meter and rest it every time I fill up one simple way to tell if there somethign wrong with yoru car. I ran through one tank in a day and only got 145 miles out of that tank <_<
