Leaky Intercooler?

So I completed stage zero yesterday with new (stock) intercooler hoses, and I'm still only getting about 4psi. I have already replaced the vac lines, so I guess I'm down to the CBV and intercooler? I think I might just take advantage of QBM's sale on the CBV, but is there a way to check if my intercooler is leaking?

I'm a little ticked at my indy mechanic so I'd rather not go to him. He told me I had bent swaybar endlinks and a bent stearing knuckle that was causing a creaking in my suspension. I didn't really believe I had a bent stearing knuckle to I took it home to take a look. I had neither, the bushings were just dry.
