General Disarray Posted August 11, 2007 Report Share Posted August 11, 2007 Since February I haven't had a chance to enjoy my car, the head gasket went and two months later I had that done, then the trans went a day later, I finally got the car back the day of graduation, and found a lake of oil under the car, and it would not boost properly and was throwing codes left and right. Today after a month of work I finally got the car running again, with brand new struts and what not, turbo rebuilt by gpopshop.com, had one problem when I got it back but was easily fixed, most of the hoses are new, throttle body only had one bolt holding it in and half the old gasket missing, I fixed that, and a million other small and/or major things. I don't think I'm going to let anybody but myself work on it anymore. I think it's pretty bad when you're missing bolts in vital engine parts, and the wheel lugs are so tight they bend the spare tire wrench, and twist a tire iron. I didn't know where to post since I don't have any pics of the rebuild. But I can finally enjoy my car again.
