Zulu
Need to buy some black vac line, never crosses my mind lol...Used the dash vent as a jig on some aluminum mesh we had left over from a job, press fit. Getting the autometer mounting cup, can't stand how the VDO looks, not to mention it's a piece of stuff.40mm discontinued HKS with a press fit aluminum mount piece, takes a couple minutes to make.Took out two of my unused switches, filed the area out and as you can see, put my headlight switch in there. Doesn't sit flush by any means, but looks fine to me.Thanks to NGB for getting me the a-pillar asap so I could get rid of my 3-gauge pillar crap, great guy to deal with! Let me know when you got the rest of those parts!

Zulu
Holy ricer!Really? Think it's much better then an a-pillar...not too mention people were begging Owned, I think, for a dash vent mount so I wouldn't think a mount there would get called ricer lol (though mines not a nice mold or anything). northmiler89
yea.. kind of getting a ricer flag thrown on the dash guage.. but the one where the lights usually are is fricken awsome! great spot for a boost guage, if you only have the need for one. Zulu
Eh, once I switch mounting cups it should look much better. I don't love it, but I like it better then the a-pillar unless someone has a unique, better idea. Rest are going in the glovebox though.Hmmm, oh well. At the very least, I figured the 40mm is nice. I like it all :)

The other two and the current location of the light switch is what Im calling foul on.
Guest Guest
Also how in the hell can you read that gauge where the light switch was while driving?
ACES70
Can you not use a smaller gauge vac line for the boost gauge?
Zulu
hhaha, yeah, i thought the bottom half was suede/alcantara for a second. haha, I've been doing so much maintenance, whole car is a mess. Hasn't been cleaned in a couple months. No i think the gauge where the light switch was looks good. The other two and the current location of the light switch is what Im calling foul on.I've always liked steering wheel mounts, dash mount is eh but options are limited & as far as the light switch, no one can really see it but me hehe and I REALLY didn't wanna extend wires to give it some weird mount. Also how in the hell can you read that gauge where the light switch was while driving?Well, I don't need to see that gauge all the time and it's actually in plain view... VolvoKid4Life
The gauge where your headlight switch usded to looks great! But man... that one on the dash vent looks way bad, it looks like a siren sittin up there on your dash and isnt even close to blending in. And the one infront of your cluster is bad... very very bad.... it looks like its in the way and i thought u would want your gauges up above the dash so you dont have to take your eyes off the road.JR
Zulu
Can you not use a smaller gauge vac line for the boost gauge?I can and it should also be black lol...that's just what was sitting in my garage when I did it.
