Where his bands begin to overlap, there is a channel that prevents the band from misaligning and slipping out from underneath itself when tightening begins. I had problems like this when my hoses kit went on. Just picked up some hose clamps from George last night.... Man these clamps are built right plus they have a guard so that they dont pinch and rip the silicon couplers.
