Binding End-link Joint?

So, the IPD end-link I installed less than a year ago started to have play on the lower joint as installed in the driver side, IPD promptly sent me a new one for warranty. After install of said warranty replacement (not right after though, I remember test driving the car right after install and didn't hear a thing - but was very pleased the rattling noise is finally gone on my suspension), I'm hearing this loud thud on initial move of car from rest after it sits for a while (i.e. overnight).

Now, after a couple of days, whenever the car is driven out of the driveway, with sharp steering, but not necessarily full-steer, I sometimes hear a loud thud coming from the front, driver side. But after that initial thud, nothing, no sound out of usual, no grinding or groaning sound during cruising (not bearing?), no click-click-sound during slow turning (not axle?), and definitely no clunking sound (not end-link or spring-seat?). I did replace a lot of things on both sides of the front within the last two weeks (strut/spring seat/control arm/outer tie-rod) but no sound like this happened after install, only after I installed the replacement end-link. Is it possible for the end-link joint to bind? If you'e replaced an end-link, you know how tight the joints are that they can't be easily moved.

I checked & the end-links are tight on both ends (upper & lower) on both side of the car.

Anybody had similar experience?

Thanks for any response.
