jdlc
Inspecting the 94 850 Turbo wagon car I recently got w/ 162k, it got red rear SACHS shocks part # 1387929 which does not match what FCP Groton has. Pulled it out & physically is in much better condition than the original shocks from our 98 V70 w/ 110k. Is this factory shocks that came with the car or replaced already? Thanks
prasamin
Sachs made a touring shock/strut kit for our cars....the red shocks are part of that kit, and are better quality than the Boge/Sachs original ones that FCP sells.
jdlc
Cool, can I assume then that the front is a touring strut? Is the strut for that kit red as well? I'll double check but I think the struts are black. If I read you right, the red rear shocks I pulled out are replacements and not the ones factory installed. As I said, they look newer & in better shape than what I pulled in our V70 when I replaced it (the bottom rubber bushing is hardly worn on the red ones, it was not shot but worn on our V70).Thanks

jdlc
Definitely did. I guess I got lucky my newly acquired 94 Turbo has sports suspension! I definitley think this is not factory installed if only for its condition, and the car do sit lower than our V70. Yahoo .Thanks for the info.Hi, you maywant to look at this http://www.eurosporttuning.ca/Merchant2/me..._Code=VL-850-su This may answer your question about your shocks. prasamin
can you confirm the part numbers on the springs front and rear?you get the best combo if you have both the springs and shocks/struts paired up.
