Well it seems as though the meet was a success. Everyone had a good time, the VCOA show was great, karting was awesome, tons of great photos, and we had an awesome night out at the club last night which was very chill. We all got back to Johns/the hotel at about 5:30am- it's 9am now- so everyone is still crashed out. We'll be doing alittle more hanging out today then off to our respective parts of the state. Pictures should be posted by late tonight or tomorrow.

Hi Guys. I wanted to personally thank each of you that made the trip to the TxVCOA meet. My name is Jon...you might remember my car more than me. It's the V8 740. You guys showing up made the meet much more interesting and frankly, it's good to know there really are people tuning the newer Volvos. Anyway...thanks!!!

p.s. I lost both parking lamps on the way home to Dallas...hehe...at somewhere around 130-135! Oh well.....

yeah...it's a Brick alrighty!!! I was about half way home to Dallas when a 850t pulled up alongside...I was loping along on cruise around 75 or so. The passenger was pointing to my 347 logos, saw the driver glance over and shake his head. He floored his, I dropped to 4th and walked the dog. At 100, he was a good 20 car lengths back. Grabbed 5th and he was history. Went ahead and ran it up...why not?...heard a faint thump....backed off and let the cruise catch it. He pulled alongside and was really checking the car out...then went on by. I hit the next rest stop and saw the lamps had blown off. Guess I'll start carrying spares!!

Doing the swap can be easy...to do it right takes a lot of patience, man. And...don't write off that B23FT...that's the closest thing to a race motor Volvo ever built. Forged internals...super stout motor...I got it in my 760.
