BTW I still have TONS of parts off my 850 which I need to sell and am happy to deliver to Houston no charge and will give a discount since there will be no need for pay pal or shipping head aches.

Nick

Are you parting it out completely? I need a new ABS controller (or whatever it's called. The thing that makes the ABS/TRACS lights come on and my odometer from not working). Let me know.

Actually the nonturbo 850 sold yesterday so I'm keeping the turbo as my daily, just less modified. Whatever parts don't sell for a decent price go back on it.

ABS light is not what is keeping the odometer from working, thats a broken odometer gear from hitting the trip reset button while moving.

Yes, pictures only are likely. The car is/was not set up for road trips anyways- little space and no top at all is not road trip friendly. It will blow your mind but I will give you a small teaser from a few weeks back. Those that know what I have been wanting to build have a good clue of what it is that I'm doing.....I'm just blending it with my volvo hobby as well.

At George Dill's recommendation I signed up on this forum. I'm mostly a Brickboarder but also have posted on Swedespeed - been driving Volvos since 1967 when I got my first 544.

I found the Comfort Inn on Mason Road just south of I-10 which puts it very close to the BBQ.

BTW speaking of being mistaken for a grandfather, that's OK, I have a grandkid who is a college prof.

We'll be in the black S60T5 with the Swedish flag plate on the front - only one of my oldtimers is currently functional at all, my 69 164, and it is poorly at the moment.

We're driving down from Bartlesville Friday - how do I make contact with you guys when I get there?

Hey George-

I don't know if you'll be interested but the TXC crew is going to the 1/4 mile on Friday, and Saturday after the BBQ we're planing on doing something really cool.. Just keep posting here and we'll keep you informed, btw I'm Juan :D

¡Oye Juan!

¡Que bueno eso! Probably will take all day to get down there - it is about 600 miles, but will certainly see you at the BBQ and hook up there. Many thanks!
